Terms of use.

These terms govern your use of the PoleView app and this website, both provided by Global Phoenix Solutions Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 14855822). By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use PoleView.

PoleView is pre-release software under active development. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of any reconstruction, or uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be removed, and reconstructions are approximations derived from the data you supply.

PoleView visualises position data and displays video feeds that you supply. PoleView never supplies, proxies, resells, or redistributes any third party's timing data or video. You are responsible for holding the rights to whatever data and feeds you connect, and for ensuring your use of them complies with the terms of the services they come from. If you don't have the right to use a feed, don't connect it.

PoleView is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any motorsport series, team, championship, or sanctioning body, and it does not use their names, logos, liveries, or broadcast footage. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. The PoleView name, mark, software, and site content are the property of Global Phoenix Solutions Ltd; you may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app or this site's content except as these terms or applicable law allow.

Don't use PoleView to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to redistribute content you don't own, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or this site. We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are breached.

Payments made through Ko-fi (or any future crowdfunding campaign) are voluntary contributions in support of development. They are not purchases, do not grant any product, feature, or service, and are non-refundable except as required by law or by the platform's own policies.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England & Wales (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Phoenix Solutions Ltd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of PoleView, and our total liability in connection with PoleView is limited to £100. PoleView is free software; use it in a clear space and take normal care while wearing a headset.
